Can you lose 8 kilograms in 7 days?
After I managed to get close to my normal weight with the ketogenic Diet in mid-2019, I rested on my success. I fell back into my old eating habits and neglected exercise. As a result, I ended up back at the same weight at the end of 2019 as I was at the beginning of 2019: 103.7 kg!
Therefore, I wanted to try another crash diet and came across a diet nutrition plan from the German website elle.de, where you should supposedly lose 8 kilograms in 7 days.
Each day had a different nutritional focus. I didn’t hesitate for long and decided to try out the diet.
What did my diet plan look like?
Day 1 — Fruits / No bananas!

Day 2 — Vegetables / Breakfast: Boiled potatoes // Lots of broccoli

Day 3 — Fruits & Vegetables / No bananas and potatoes!

Day 4 — 10 bananas & 3 liters of milk

Day 5 — Lean chicken / fish / 8 tomatoes / min. 2.5 liters of water

Day 6 — Red meat (beef, lamb, pork) / vegetables

Day 7 — Lunch: Brown rice with vegetables / 1 potato / 1 fruit or vegetable juice.

Did I really lost the promised 8 kilograms in 7 days?
No! I stuck exactly to this plan and managed to reduce my weight by 3.9 kg within the 7 days. The waist circumference was 3 cm less. I only did sports on two days, where I jogged for 15 minutes.

How did the diet go?
The first three days were the worst! I found it very difficult to get full from fruits and vegetables. Especially the first day was hard for me, because the acid from the fruits has at some point started to burn so strongly in the mouth that I got no more desire for other fruits. On these first three days I was very hungry in the evening. On the other days I wasn’t hungry and the daily variety made this diet easy for me. Better than having to eat the same food over and over again every day, as with an egg diet, for example.
My conclusion of the “8 kilograms in 7 days” diet
Although I was not able to lose the promised 8 kilograms (as expected), I am still satisfied with the overall weight reduction of 3.9 kilograms in 7 days.
The diet shines with the daily change of nutritional focus and is perfect for anyone who wants to try their first diet and complete it successfully.
